…The groundhog has appeared and so has his shadow, but it sure feels like Spring to me!  Time change is only a few weeks away.  This year we actually pick up a couple of extra weeks, thanks to President Bush.  (Hint: March 11 is the big day)  Anyway, keep your eyes open for those first buds and green shoots coming out of the  ground.  It is a great time of year! 

…My good friend, Steve Jones, was our guest last week on the “Voice of Frontier Missions” radio broadcast.  Steve is an expert in the area of charitable giving, estate planning and wills.  He did an outstanding job explaining the new procedures and tax laws that will really help people in planning for their retirement, family needs and their favorite charity…hopefully that’s Frontier Missions!  If you’re interested in talking with Steve, just call the FMI office and we’ll help you.

…The rigs are rolling!  Always makes me hum a couple of bars of  “On The Road Again” by Willie Nelson.  Marv and Judy Boettcher are out there right now with one of the little rigs.  When they get back towards the end of February we’ll turn around and head out with one of the Western Star big rigs loaded with groceries, furniture, mattresses and box springs, a ¾ ton pick-up truck and anything else we can pack into a 48’ trailer!  This is what we do here at Frontier Missions…we help Native Americans, physically and spiritually.  Keep praying for us, okay? 

…Here’s a good prayer to pray:  “Dear Lord, so far today, I’ve done alright.  I haven’t gossiped, haven’t lost my temper, haven’t been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or over-indulgent.  I’m really glad about that.  But in a few minutes, God, I’m going to get out of bed, and from then on I’m probably  going to need a lot more help.  Thank you!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!”
